§ Mr. HurdThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis tells me that officers from J district have been engaged in such duties. Forces receiving assistance do not differentiate between officers from one Metropolitan district and another, and information about the particular duties performed by the officers concerned could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
