§ Mr. MellorThe Law Commission is currently reviewing the law on this matter and its provisional recommendations are set out in its working paper No. 79 on Offences against Religion and Public Worship (a copy of which is in the Library). I would wish to study the Law Commission's final report and public reactions to it before reaching a view on the need for legislation in this field.
