§ Mr. McTaggartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the Scottish prisons which provide lavatories in cells or access to toilets at night for prisoners.
§ Mr. AncramIntegral sanitation has so far been provided at Edinburgh prison on an experimental basis in 12 cells and in the 10-cell unit recently built at Peterhead prison. Night access by inmates to toilet facilities is available at the following penal establishments:
- Castle Huntly Young Offenders' Institution
- Cornton Vale Female Institution (except in 1 wing)
- Dungavel Prison
- Edinburgh Prison (dormitories only)
- Glenochil Young Offenders' Institution
- Low Moss Prison
- Penninghame Prison
- Shotts Prison
