*Output is the actual quantity which moved off the farm and for which revenue was received. It is arrived at by reducing gross production— the maximum available supply during a single crop year — by a wastage factor. In determining waste, consideration is given to the amount of mature crop fit for sale but left in the field; damaged by weather; losses in grading, storage and dressing after the crop has left the field; and any of the crop which remains unsold due to lack of demand.
†Provisional.
