asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State's recent visit to Merseyside.

I visited Merseyside on 12 March to perform the official opening of the Knowsley enterprise agency. I took the opportunity to hold discussions with the regional director of English Estates and to visit the Speke hall estate where I visited two factories.
