§ Mr. HurdYes, we have appointed Professor Sir William Paton, CBE, DM, FRS, FRCP, Professor of Pharmacology at Oxford University, to conduct an independent scrutiny of these monitoring arrangements and a critical examination and assessment of the report which will flow from them.
