§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Energy what representations he has received from the foundry industry about recent increases in coke prices.
§ Mr. Giles ShawI received a number of representations from the foundry industry late last year concerning the increase in list prices expected on 1 January 1984. The increase was in the event limited to £10 per tonne. I have recently received a single representation concerning an alleged increase in the price of foundry coke caused by industrial action in the coal industry, which I have looked into.
