asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will give details of the import and export of manufactured goods to and from Chile, Argentina and Brazil in 1983, broken down by product.

As from 7 April 1982 the importation into the United Kingdom of goods exported from Argentina has been banned. Some of the goods shown above were imported before the embargo but documentation was not completed until later; others were personal importations or re-imported goods of United Kingdom origin, refused entry into Argentina and excluded from the embargo.
