§ Sir Keith JosephI put our views on peace studies on record in my speech, a copy of which is in the Library, at a conference organised by the National Council of Women on 3 March. I hope that the speech will continue to stimulate discussion of the issues involved.

§ Sir Keith JosephThe Department does not collect information in this form, but the evidence available to me suggests that relatively few schools have introduced formal courses in peace studies.
