asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list, for each waste disposal authority, the present estimated cost per tonne of waste disposal.

This information is published annually in the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy's waste disposal statistics.

Mr. Rost

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those waste disposal authorities which have presented him with a waste disposal structure plan.

The following authorities have sent to the Secretary of State a copy of their waste disposal plan, as finally determined, in accordance with section 2(6)(b) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974: Cleveland, Humberside, Northumberland, Staffordshire.

In addition, the following authorities have presented completed plans to the Secretary of State for his consent to those provisions within them that are the subject of objection by another disposal authority: Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Suffolk, West Midlands.
