§ Mr. Murphyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consideration he is giving to the particular requirements of the education system adopted by Hertfordshire county council in assessing rate support grant for the coming year.
§ Mr. WaldegraveBlock grant must, by law, be distributed according to principles which can apply to all authorities. Hertfordshire's grant related expenditure assessment for 1984–85 will reflect the factors affecting the relative cost of education provision in the county on the same basis as for all other authorities.
