§ Sir John Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, in view of the fact that road signs directing travellers through the borough of Lisburn and other places to the routes beyond are insufficient, the Department of the Environment Northern Ireland will make a survey, in consultation with district councils and the Northern Ireland tourist board, to ensure that travellers are as well provided for in this respect as in other parts of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Chris PattenI am not aware of any inadequacy in the provision of road signs in Lisburn or elsewhere in Northern Ireland. If my hon. Friend has in mind a particular difficulty I shall be glad to have it examined.
