§ Mr. Peter ReesThe Government would warmly welcome a discussion, both about levels of public expenditure and related levels of taxation. My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer did in fact deal with these related questions in his speech at Blackpool on 12 October, a copy of which has been placed in the Library of the House.
