§ Mr. Wallerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent actions have been taken by Her Majesty's Government to indicate to the Soviet Government that they do not recognise the incorporation of the Baltic states into the Soviet Union as lawful.
§ Mr. RifkindWe support the right of all peoples to self-determination and deplore any infringement of national sovereignty. Successive British Governments, while recognising de facto the incorporation of the Baltic states, have not recognised this incorporation de jure. There has been no change in this policy.
