§ Dr. BoysonThe Government have made arrangements to meet the additional administration costs incurred by local authorities as a result of the introduction of the new housing benefits scheme. The administration costs which they would have incurred, had the former rebate and allowances schemes continued, are reflected in block grant arrangements as before.
