§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what provision has been made to enable universities to maintain the 1968 agreement and grant clincial academic salary increases in line with the increases given to National Health Service hospital doctors.
§ Mr. BrookeRecurrent grant to the universities for the academic years 1983–84 and 1984–85 provides a contribution to the extra cost of the pay settlement for university clinical staff, following the increases agreed for NHS doctors and dentists after the 13th report of the Review Body for Doctors and Dentists Pay.
