§ Mr. WhitneyThe 1878 treaty of extradition between the United Kingdom and Spain was terminated by the376W Spanish Government in 1978. We are concerned that there is no extradition treaty in force with Spain at the present time. Discussions are continuing with the Spanish authorities with a view to finding a mutually acceptable basis for a new treaty.
