§ Mrs. ChalkerThis scheme is shown in the current Greater London Council's transport policies and programme as starting in 1985–86. The consultation paper on the reallocation of transport responsibilities following the abolition of the GLC recognises that financial arrangements must be adequate to enable necessary large schemes to be undertaken by the London boroughs. The precise form of these arrangements is being discussed with them.
