asked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to the answer of the Under-Secretary of State, Official Report, 11 July, c. 275, whether Her Majesty's Government intend to make a contribution towards the cost of the international population conference to be held in Mexico city in August 1984.

The United Kingdom will not be making a contribution towards the cost of the international conference on world population.
