Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will study the report of the investigation into the admissions system at a Mid-Glamorgan health authority district general hospital; and if he will consider recommending that a similar system be generally adhered to throughout Wales.

I have studied the report. Its recommendations on admissions are appropriate for the whole of Wales, are already generally practised and are being commended to all authorities.
