Mr. Gould

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for goods vehicles other than heavy goods vehicles, the volume and value of imports from and exports to the European Community and to the rest of the world;

(2) whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing imports and exports of heavy goods vehicles by volume and value from (a) the European Community and (b) the rest of the world each year since 1970 and the current year to date, at an annual rate.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) whether he will publish in the Official Report, a table showing for each year since 1970 and the current year to date, at an annual rate, the number and value of passenger motor cars imported from and exported to the European Community countries collectively and individually;

(2) whether he will publish in the Official Report a table showing the ratio of imports to exports of motor cars by quantity and value each year from 1970 and the current year to date in the case of United Kingdom trade with the European Community as a whole and with each of the car-producing members of the European Economic Community.
