§ Mr. BrookeIt is estimated that some 245,000 of the 330,000 dependent students in 1983–84 were deemed to be in receipt of a parental contribution. About 97 per cent. of home full-time students in higher education on courses designated for mandatory award purposes obtained an award in 1981–82.
