§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if the Scottish Development Department will consider funding research into the extent of former mineral workings in Glasgow in view of the importance of such information in respect of industrial and residential development in the city.
§ Mr. AncramThe Government have commissioned the Institute of Geological Sciences to conduct research on this subject, and this is currently in progress.
