§ Mr. Strawasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will give a breakdown by country, England, Scotland, and Wales, of the total of local authority excess of outturn 1982–83 over planned provision, detailed in his autumn statement;
(2) what inflation assumptions he has made in determining the overall level of provision for local authorities, announced in his autumn statement;
(3) what is the change in percentage terms in local authority public expenditure 1983–84 provision over 1982–83 outturn, in (a) cash, (b) cost and (c) volume terms.
