§ Mrs. FennerUnited Kingdom growers will be affected mainly by the measures relating to producers' organisations and by the revised method of calculating reference prices which will raise them nearer to Community price levels. Of the 14 products to which reference prices apply, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples and pears are grown in the United Kingdom. In addition, four more products, including lettuce and endives, will be brought within the reference price system and compensation for withdrawal from the market will normally be limited to produce harvested in the marketing year in which it is withdrawn.
