§ Mr. ButcherMy Department operates a number of schemes, both financial and technical, which encourage the development of more sophisticated design and production techniques by which the competitiveness of our engineering industries can be improved both at home and overseas. That support is available to British manufacturers of freight containers, and I would encourage them to take due advantage of it.
