§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeI met a deputation in March led by my hon. Friend the Member for Castle Point (Sir B. Braine). It included the chairman of the Southend health authority. I have also received a letter from the chairman dated 25 October 1983, a copy of which, I understand, was sent to my hon. Friend the Member for Southend, East. I shall see that my hon. Friend receives a copy of the reply to the chairman.
