§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress is being achieved by each of the local
County District Site Dyfed Llanelli Morfa Preseli Under the Hills, Haverfordwest Preseli Withybush, Haverfordwest South Pembrokeshire Catshole Quarry, Pembroke South Pembrokeshire Kingsmoor Common, Kilgetty Gwent Blaenau Gwent Cwmerachen, Nantyglo Torfaen Shepherds Hill, Upper Race, Pontypool Gwynedd Arfon Llandegai, Bangor Mid Glamorgan Merthyr Tydfil Glyn Mil Powys Montgomery Withybeds, Welshpool Dyfed county council is currently constructing a new site at Waterloo, Pembroke, and South Glamorgan county council is presently bringing the Rover Way site at Cardiff up to an acceptable standard. In addition Clwyd, Dyfed and Gwent county councils are seeking to identify locations for new sites in their areas while West Glamorgan county council has recently produced, for further detailed consideration, a short list of possible locations in the Swansea area.
