§ Mr. FowlerI am conscious of the need to provide Parliament and the public with as much information as possible about the work of my Department. The publication of such documents as "Health Care and Its Costs" (1983) exemplifies our approach. I am therefore considering, in the context of the Government's financial management initiative, whether an annual statement of the Department's objectives and performance should be published.
