§ Mrs. FennerThere is a responsibility on all persons in charge of farm livestock to maintain satisfactory standards of welfare. I am satisfied that the state veterinary service properly discharges its responsibilities under part 1 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1968, by advice and, where necessary, court action.
