§ 31. Mr. David Atkinsonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he last met representatives of the Civil Service pensioners alliance to discuss index-linking of pensions.
§ Mr. HayhoeI met representatives of the Public Service Pensioners' Council, including the chairman of the alliance, on 28 February. Some aspects of index-linking were discussed at that meeting. Officials of my Department met the secretary of the alliance on 19 April to explain the change in the method of calculating pensions increase that has been introduced this year.
