(2) what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the recommendations of the third report of the Home Affairs Committee in the last Session of Parliament concerning the fees payable for naturalisation and registration; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. WaddingtonConsideration of the recommendations in the third report of the Home Affairs Committee — Session 1982–83—will be completed shortly. This consideration includes the development of a new accounting and fee-setting system, from which conclusions will be drawn as to whether any changes should be made in the fees payable for naturalisation and registration.
