§ Mr. RaisonThe amount allocated for expenditure on aid to Sri Lanka in the financial year beginning 1 April 1983 is £28.79 million. Of this total, £25 million is allocated to the Victoria dam and hydro-electric project; the other major projects are railway rehabilitation, urban water supply and modernisation of irrigation tanks.
