§ Mr. MellorRecords available to us, which may be incomplete, show six persons proceeded against in magistrates' courts in England and Wales in 1982 for offences against sections 1, 2 or 6 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1968. All were found guilty and fined amounts averaging £64 and ranging from £10 to £150. The information collected centrally does not identify separately prosecutions under each of the sections.
