§ Mr. WaldegraveApproximately 40 staff—full-time equivalents—are currently engaged on work relating to the restructuring of local government in the metropolitan areas. Some additional resources may be needed during 1984 and 1985, but no precise estimate can be made at present. These requirement will be met within Departments' planned allocations of staff.
