§ Mr. Giles ShawThe Department made a grant of £292,000 during 1982–83 to the Keep Britain Tidy Group to support the national anti-litter campaign, and additionally made a contribution of £50,000 to the development of the group's Beautiful Britain 1983 campaign initiative.
