§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe Manpower Services Commission provides financial support to employers who offer industrial placements to college-based sandwich course students at degree or HND level in engineering, technology or computer science. Grants are made available through industry training organisations, which may have to decide priorities for support within the criteria laid down by the commission. Payment to students is, however, a matter between student and employer.
