§ Mr. Norman Atkinsonasked the Minister for Trade if he will ask the Director General of Fair Trading to 404W investigate as an anti-competitive practice the agreement of the major petrol companies to fix the price of four star petrol at 179.1p.
§ Dr. VaughanThe Director General is keeping competition in the petrol market under review. I understand he has no evidence that there is a price-fixing agreement among the major petrol companies. If the hon. Member has any such evidence he should get in touch with the director general.
