§ Mr. Stanley51 per cent. of the dwellings inspected were visited by environmental health officers and 49 per cent. by private sector surveyors. Of the dwellings judged to be unfit 62 per cent. were visited by environmental health officers and 38 per cent. were visited by private surveyors.
