asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, pursuant to his answer of 26 April , Official Report, c. 721–2, he can yet say when the report of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools will be published.

Her Majesty's Inspectorate has not yet completed its report on the effects of local authorities' expenditure policies on education in England in 1982. As I stated on 26 April, it was my intention, had the election not intervened, to publish the report.
