§ Mr. YoungerIn keeping with the statement by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry on the relationship between the Government and the nationalised industries, I have now set objectives for the South of Scotland electricity board and the North of Scotland hydro-electric board.
In view of the close collaboration that exists between the two boards, it seemed most appropriate to set the objectives as a common list applicable to both boards. Each board will, of course, retain the responsibility for ensuring that the objectives are met within their own organisations.
