§ Mr. Hal Millerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether there has yet been a response from the Uganda Government concerning an extension of the 90-day limit for claims for compensation by British citizens whose property in Uganda was expropriated under the Amin régime.
§ Mr. RifkindI am glad to say that we have now heard from the Ugandan high commissioner in London that his Government have decided that there should be no time limit for claims for compensation. We are passing on this news to the claimants by means of a circular letter.
