§ Mr. Peter MorrisonSixty-six local education authorities submitted proposals for pilot projects under the new technical and vocational education initiative. Fourteen projects have been selected for support, and the Manpower Services Commission is currently engaged in negotiations with the local authorities concerned about costs and other issues relating to detailed implementation. Schemes are expected to start in September.
