§ Mr. HayhoeThe Civil Service Medical Advisory Service has one audiometric unit in its headquarters in Westminster and access to other units as required. Surveys of noise levels in Departments are commissioned by the Civil Service Medical Advisory Service, using the occupational hygiene facilities of other Government Departments such as the Property Services Agency and the Ministry of Defence (Procurement Executive), of academic departments and of commercial organisations. Audiometric surveillance is carried out as a result of these investigations at the instigation of the Civil Service Medical Advisory Service.
