§ Mr. MellorThe anti-burglary equipment made in prison workshops is limited to the manufacture, under subcontract to a private firm, of wood boxes into which burglar alarms are subsequently installed by the firm concerned. No question of a guarantee for the work done in prison workshops arises; neither prisoners nor staff are in any way involved with production or installation of the actual alarms.
