§ Mr. YoungerI have received a request from the secretary of the Lothian region joint trade union committee asking for a meeting with me on the subject of Lothian regional council's budget for 1983–84. A reply was sent on my behalf on 4 May saying that I could not agree to its request for a meeting. I am sending a copy of that reply to the hon. Member.
