§ Mrs. ChalkerThe Commission's draft directive on lorry weights and dimensions continues to be discussed in the Council's working group on transport questions. We have made it clear that we cannot accept a maximum weight of more than 38 tonnes for vehicles using roads in the United Kingdom.
