§ Mr. Fieldasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will set out the assumptions underlying his calculation in table 2.12 of Cmnd. 8799-II which shows the planned expenditure on rent allowances falling from £329 million in 1983–84 to £300 million in 1984–85.
