§ Mr. Georgeasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will estimate the percentage of production of (a) the aerospace and (b) shipbuilding industries that is defence related.
§ Mr. ButcherThe relevant proportions, including Ministry of Defence procurement and exports, are of the order of one-third in the case of the shipbuilding and marine engineering industries, and two-thirds in the case of the aerospace industry.
