§ Mr. MayhewInformation about police action nationally in respect of the sale of video cassettes is not collected centrally. We understand, however, that the Metropolitan police record separately the number of video cassettes seized under the Obscene Publications Acts 1959 and 1964 in the Metropolitan police district, and that in 1982 22,403 cassettes were so seized.
